As I have mentioned, we spent last week with my parents.
While the Peach and Melon Festival Parade is always one of the highlights of the trip, there are so many other things that we enjoy, too.
We always go back to school shopping while we are there. When we got home, I had the littles all try on their clothes and perform a little fashion show.
Summer is all ready to shine in Kindergarten.

I am not going to lie. It has been a challenging semester. I texted my mom yesterday and said, "I do see the unicorns and rainbows, but, man, it has been a rough semester at times."
The fact that Ethan has been so sick and has had so many appointments has been difficult. Not knowing what was going on with his little tummy was stressful. Now that we are starting to receive some answers, we are starting to see that rainbow in the clouds. And, wow, it is beautiful, one that is very fitting 
We have a little school tradition in our family. We celebrate Report Card day. We do not really celebrate the actual grades, although we are always proud of those, too. We celebrate making it through a 9-week grading period.
Sometimes we go out to eat, and sometimes I make a special meal at home. Really, it does not matter which one we choose. Because, it is all about celebrating an accomplishment. And, making it through the 1st 9-weeks of school is a huge accomplishment.
