Last week I hinted at sharing good news about Ethan.  Then, life got busy with school, a special birthday party, planning for October, and a stomach bug that quickly made its way through our home.  So, the good news, while still at the forefront of my heart, had to take a seat on the back burner while I was able to get caught up a little. Gabriel accomplished something pretty great today. And, I could not let the night get by without sharing. The second week of school, all of the 4th graders were given a challenge.  Their teachers wanted them to each read 40 books, of various genres, by the end of the year.  Books longer than 350 pages would count as 2 books. As I have mentioned, Gabriel loves to read.  After he finished one of the books in his current series on Saturday night, he was antsy for the next one.  I told him that I would run to the bookstore and buy it for him.
