Ethan’s Progress Report

Ethan started off the week trying to recover from last weekend’s illness.  When he woke up on Monday, it was clear that he needed to spend another day at home. So, that is what he did.  By the afternoon, he had perked up and was feeling much better.  He still has a bit of a chest cold, but it gets better throughout the day. Happiness is Friday. Happiness is Pizza and Movie night on Friday. Happiness is having a sweet little girl who took care of me all day Wednesday when I was in bed sick. Happiness is having an amazing speech and occupational therapist.  So amazing that they brought me to tears yesterday.  More about that tomorrow in Ethan’s Progress Report. Beauty in the Unexpected – Recipe: No Bake Chewy Granola Bars

Yesterday life took a very small unexpected turn.  I went to bed Tuesday feeling rotten and woke up Wednesday feeling even worse.  Luckily, I already had a doctor’s appointment scheduled first thing for an unrelated follow-up, so I was able to get started on some medication.  As soon as we returned home, I made Summer an early lunch and got into bed.
